Trade accounts

approve customers request open trade account

iStockist is the best software platform for running your internet wholesale store. Give your customers an easy buying experience with our online ordering system.

iStockist makes it easy to approve new customers’ request to open trade accounts with suppliers.

New customers who would like a trade account with a supplier, can sign up via the supplier’s iStockist homepage and send a request. The supplier and his team get an email with the new customer’s details, and can decide whether to approve their trade account, and which group/product catalog to assign them to.

Approving a request

All new customers sending requests for trade accounts will be listed inside Public group > Customers > Inactive.

  1. Select Groups in the left side menu > select Public group > select Customers tab on top.
  2. Click on Show inactive customers on sidemenu > find the customer name > click on it.
  3. Click on the group name, which in this case will be set as Public > select which private group you want this customer to be part of.
  4. Click Update
  5. Your customer will receive an email to let him know you approved his trade account and can now place orders.
