Editing products and prices on CSV file

  2. You’ll see the prices entered so far for the store groups and change them accordingly;
  3. If you have new product codes to add for this new price list, simply add them as new lines to the bottom of the CSV. Make sure to enter the product code, name, category, unit, and prices in the appropriate columns;
  4. After you finished, save the file.

Import updated products and prices to iStockist

  1. Login to your iStockist seller account;
  2. Click the Account settings icon (cog) at the header, after that, at the left side menu click Import/Export link;
  3. Select ‘Products’ on the drop down and click the Upload button, browse your computer and select the updated CSV file to import;
  4. Now simply match the columns from your imported file to the product fields in iStockist;
    • Name – Match to the product name;
    • Description – Match to the Product Description (if you see
      and similar symbols in here, this is just because the descriptions get formatted as html to display with bold/bullets etc on the page);
    • Size – Match to the product size;
    • [Blank] – For Barcodes, but since none exist yet for the current product codes, it displays as blank. You can leave this as none;
    • Category Name – Match to the product category name;
    • Code/sku – Match to the product Code/sku (IMPORTANT: in the case of duplicate codes, only one product code will be imported);
    • Unit – Match to the product Split Qty > Unit (NOTE: Splits is turned off by default, so you can ignore this if you like);
    • Default Price – Match to the product default price (NOTE: Leave this blank, as adding a default price will display this price if no group price exists);
    • Public – Match to Store Group > Public.
  5. After you finished, click the Import All button. This might take a couple of minutes, so please stay on the page until the import is complete.
