Product categories

Categories will organize your products so your customers can find them easily. Before adding new categories make sure you have the splits you need set up.

How to add category to a product

1. Navigate to your iStockist's store URL and login to your seller account using your email and password;
2. On the left vertical tabs click​ 'Products';
3. Select 'Category'  tab  and click the blue plus button to add a new one;
4. Enter the information required;

You have the option to add an 'Additional cost'  category. This allows you to add an extra cost per category to each order. If customer add this category to the order twice it will be applied only once. Additional cost will be added to the category and all subcategories.

Category can only be deleted if no products are using it.
